The development of alarm systems over recent decades can be viewed through one important change. Technology used to be designed primarily from the perspective of the device. Today it increasingly needs to be designed from the perspective of the person using it as well.
The user does not want to think about which communication route information takes to reach a phone. They do not want to learn the structure of alarm zones or technical details merely to arm the system when leaving home. They want clear information and a simple way to do what they need.
That approach is one of the things we find particularly interesting about Jablotron. We see the system as a platform in which the different elements need to make sense together: alarm devices, communications, remote access, control and the tools used by installers.
